With an air of confidence surrounding them, the girls went into their second game against England feeling good. It was a new experience for them playing in an all-out innings but going into bat first, they quickly racked up a score of 6.5. The aim was to keep the England score as low as possible but some questionable decision making in the latter stages of the innings allowed England to score a half time total of 14 - quite a challenge to bring this one back.
In the second innings England were switched on, quickly catching out 4 of the team. The remaining players battled on to build an overall score of 10.5 but it wasn't enough to ask England to bat again. At this point, England had won the game.
It was a fantastic experience for all students involved and special congratulations must go to Kiera Cooper who was also voted Most Valuable Player by the England Board.
